Key Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in structured cabling and terminating fiber and copper
- Knowledgeable in TIA/EIA cabling standards
- Ability to read network blueprints
- Strong organizational skills for managing tools and inventory
Primary Responsibilities
- Install structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics)
- Terminate and test fiber connections using Fluke equipment
- Install and dress network racks
- Set up cable tray systems
- Document as-built plans
- Lead small project teams
