Overview

As a Security Technician at HCS Electrical, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our commercial projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems across a variety of commercial environments. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure security systems, including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, in commercial settings such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Conduct regular system inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair security system malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of security systems with other electrical components.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users to ensure proper understanding and operation of installed security systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in security technology and industry best practices.

Experience

• Installing CCTV cameras, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• A valid electrical license for the state of Colorado.
• Physical capability to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in electrical and security system installations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with C-More is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working on commercial projects, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of these environments.

Location & Schedule

The primary location for this position is Aurora, CO. Aurora is conveniently located near several neighboring cities, including Denver, Centennial, Thornton, Lakewood, and Englewood. This position requires full-time availability, and candidates must be willing to travel to various project sites within these areas as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

HCS Electrical offers a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $26.52 to $32.22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
