Overview of the Office Commercial Electrician Role

At HCS Electrical, the Office Commercial Electrician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems within commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and demonstrate the ability to efficiently manage projects from inception to completion.

Requirements for Office Commercial Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Utilize thermal imaging cameras for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including Arc Flash Safety and OSHA standards.

Required Certifications:

• Arc Flash Safety
• OSHA 30

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for the state of Georgia.
• Proficiency with thermal imaging cameras.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 30 safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.

Safety Knowledge:

• Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols in commercial electrical environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Arc Flash Training.
• Extensive commercial project experience.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Sandy Springs, GA.
• Neighboring cities include Atlanta, Roswell, Dunwoody, and Brookhaven.
• Schedule: Full-time position, with standard working hours and occasional overtime as needed.

• Pay range: $34.47-$38.58 per hour, depending on experience.
