Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the electrical industry. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician to learn the trade while assisting in a variety of electrical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist and learn from Journeyman Electricians on installing and maintaining electrical systems.

2. Help in the installation of electrical conduits and wires.

3. Practice safe working procedures, including lockout-tagout.

4. Assist in diagnosing electrical problems and determining how to correct them.

5. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.

6. Help in inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.

7. Identify and use hand and power tools correctly.

8. Gain understanding of reading blueprints/drawings and electrical circuit diagrams.

9. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Must be enrolled in an electrician apprenticeship program.

3. Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety.

4. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

5. Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

6. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as required.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license.

2. Must pass a drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record.

3. Must be 18 years of age or older.
