Position Overview at HCI Systems
As a Fire Alarm Tech based in Denver, CO, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, primarily focusing on healthcare facilities. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure all systems meet technical specifications and comply with safety standards, serving clients in Denver and neighboring cities.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install and service fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems efficiently.
- Participate in project planning and execution to meet client needs.
- Document all service and installation activities accurately.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at HCI Systems
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Simplex 4100 Certification.
- Proven experience with Silent Knight Systems and Edwards EST Systems.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical labor, such as lifting and climbing ladders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Notifier Certification.
- Experience with Fire-Lite Systems.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fire alarm installation and maintenance.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Denver, CO.
- Additional locations: Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Westminster, Centennial.
- Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $27.91-$33.92 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
