Requirements for Cable Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair data and voice cabling systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of cable networks.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet specific project goals and timelines.

Daily Tasks

• Perform site surveys and assessments to determine cable installation needs.
• Utilize appropriate tools to measure, cut, and install cables.
• Document installations and repairs for client records.

Project Involvement

Qualifications for Cable Technician at HCI Systems

• 2-5 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: OSHA 10.
• Proficiency with wire mapping tools and punch down tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Fiber Optic Certification.
• Extensive experience with wire mapping tools.
• Specialized experience in healthcare facility cabling.

• Primary location: Riverside, CA.

• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime based on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $29.92-$36.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
