Position: Solar Panel Installer Location: Palm Springs, CA Company: Greenskies Solar

Job Description: Greenskies Solar is seeking experienced, dedicated, and passionate Solar Panel Installers of all levels to join our team in Palm Springs, CA. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing solar panel systems on new construction and large solar farms, ensuring they are functioning correctly and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure solar panel systems according to design plans and specifications
• Conduct site inspections and assess potential installation sites for optimal solar energy harvesting
• Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and procedures, and federal and state laws
• Troubleshoot system problems and perform maintenance tasks
• Complete installation reports and documentation
• Work in collaboration with electrical and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of solar systems

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a solar panel installer
• Proficiency in using manual and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of electrical and structural systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• NABCEP certification is a plus
• Experience in working on solar farms or large scale solar projects
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and on roofs or high structures
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Safety Requirements:

• Adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies at all times
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
