Overview of Residential Junior Project Manager Role

As a Residential Junior Project Manager at Convergint, you will be an integral part of our residential projects team, responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of various residential projects. Your role will involve collaborating with senior project managers, designers, and clients to deliver successful outcomes. Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of residential projects, including custom homes, multi-family units, and remodels.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
  • Assist in resolving any project-related issues or conflicts.
  • Support budget management and project cost tracking.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Required Certifications:

  • PRINCE2
  • PMP

• Experience with:

  • Design Software (AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera)
  • Code Analysis

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of electrical experience in a residential setting.
• Valid electrical license for California.
• Proficiency in design software and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks as required by the job.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with code analysis in a residential construction context.
• Previous experience working on residential projects.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Neighboring Cities: Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Inglewood, and Long Beach.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours and occasional overtime as required by project demands.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $25.19 - $33.12 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
