Position Overview at Convergint
The AV Systems Tech position in Kansas City, MO, focuses on the installation, maintenance, and optimization of audiovisual systems in healthcare facilities. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their specific needs and delivering tailored solutions to enhance communication and operational efficiency across healthcare environments. This position will require travel to various client sites within Kansas City and neighboring areas to ensure system performance and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech
- Design, install, and configure AV systems tailored for healthcare facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Collaborate with healthcare facility staff to determine AV needs and provide technical support.
- Document system configurations and maintenance activities accurately.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AV technology to provide innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at Convergint
- 3-5 years of experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: QSC Certification.
- Proficient in working with Biamp Audio Systems and Extron Electronics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Extron Certification.
- Extensive experience with Biamp Audio Systems.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility AV systems.
- Proficient with hand and power tools relevant to AV installations.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Kansas City, MO.
- Additional locations: Overland Park, KS; Independence, MO; Olathe, KS; Lee’s Summit, MO.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $30.09-$36.73 per hour.
