Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL
Position Overview
AVI SPL is seeking for a dedicated and skilled Low Voltage Security Installer at our Fremont, CA location. This position will work across multiple project teams, notably in universities, K-12 schools and training centers. With a flexible schedule, the Security Installer will be required to travel to client locations within a 100-mile radius. The role requires a technical focus and a comprehensive understanding of access control systems, IP camera systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, testing and maintenance of low voltage security systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues on-site
- Coordinating with project teams and clients
- Ensuring all work is completed to AVI SPL standards and client satisfaction
- Traveling within a 100-mile radius to client sites as needed
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in low voltage security installation
- Certification in Security+
- NICET Level II Certification
- Proficient knowledge of access control systems, IP camera systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
