Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are seeking an eager and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. Under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Electrician, the Apprentice Electrician will learn to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. This position requires someone who is passionate about beginning a career as an electrician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting.

• Work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to learn the trade.

• Follow the National Electrical Code and comply with state and local building codes when performing installations.

• Effectively use hand and power tools common to the electrical trade.

• Help in troubleshooting electrical issues using the appropriate testing devices.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Assist in performing regular maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Must be physically fit to lift and move heavy objects.

• Ability to distinguish colors to recognize electrical wires.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled, or willing to enroll, in an electrical apprenticeship program.

• 1-2 years of experience in the electrical field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.

• Commitment to pursuing a long-term career in the electrical field.

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and evenings, if necessary.

• Basic understanding of electrical and construction principles.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work directly under the supervision of a qualified Journeyman Electrician in the installation and repair of electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
