Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are looking for a committed and hardworking Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our experienced electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems. The Apprentice Electrician will learn to use the tools of the trade and understand how to read blueprints, schematics, and other electrical diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and switches.

2. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment.

3. Observe senior electricians to learn and understand the practical skills of the trade.

4. Help with the preparation of job sites before and after tasks.

5. Participate in classroom and on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of electrical principles.

6. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

7. Aid in the use of equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Valid State of California Electrician Trainee (ET) Card.

3. Enrolled in a State of California approved apprenticeship program (Preferred).

4. Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate attention to detail.

5. Good physical condition and stamina to handle heavy equipment and long hours.

6. Basic understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

2. Ability to work in various environments such as cold and hot temperatures.

3. Availability to work overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays if necessary.

4. Must pass a drug screen and background check.
