Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. You will work under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician to learn the trade, helping with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist Journeyman Electrician in installing and maintaining electrical systems.

2. Help in installing wiring and fixtures in buildings following blueprints.

3. Learn to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

4. Conduct electrical maintenance procedures safely and efficiently.

5. Follow the National Electrical Code and comply with state and local building codes.

6. Use various tools and equipment, including conduit benders, wire strippers, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.

7. Learn to inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for faults or defects.

8. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

9. Help to repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.

10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Completion of electrician apprenticeship program preferred.

3. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.

4. Capable of distinguishing different wire colors.

5. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand or kneel for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor.

6. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

7. Effective communication skills.

Requirements:

1. Valid California driver’s license.

2. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

3. Willingness to complete an apprenticeship program and pursue licensing.

4. Availability to work overtime, weekends, and evenings.
