Position Overview at WiLine

As a Security Technician at WiLine, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems in office buildings located in Long Beach, CA, and surrounding areas. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that all security systems are installed and maintained according to company standards and client needs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently in various settings.

Requirements for Security Technician

• Key responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain security systems including alarms, access control, and surveillance cameras.
• Daily tasks: Perform routine inspections, respond to service calls, and provide technical support for security systems.
• Project involvement: Collaborate with project teams to plan and implement security solutions for new office building projects.

Qualifications for Security Technician at WiLine

• 2-4 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: OSHA 10.
• Experience with network security tools and security management software.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: ESA Level 1 Certification.
• Experience with video surveillance equipment.
• Specialized experience in office building security systems.
• Tool proficiency: Familiarity with hand and power tools used in security system installations.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Long Beach, CA.
• Additional locations: Lakewood, Signal Hill, Carson, and Torrance.
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.17-$36.93 per hour.
