Overview of the Role

As a Fire Alarm Security Alarm Project Manager at West Coast Fire, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and guiding projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all fire alarm installations are executed to the highest standards, meeting both client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

• Project Management: Lead and manage fire alarm projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Code Analysis: Conduct thorough code analysis to ensure all installations meet local, state, and national regulations.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to update them on project progress and address any concerns.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of project timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
• Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve project challenges to keep projects on track.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a valid electrical license for the state of Oregon.
• Certifications: Must hold IPMA or PMP certification.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in code analysis and project management software.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environments and handle physical demands of the job.
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

• Experience with estimating tools.
• Previous experience managing fire alarm projects.

• Primary Location: Gresham, OR
• Neighboring Cities: Includes Portland, Troutdale, Fairview, and Wood Village.
• Schedule: Full-time position with regular business hours and occasional overtime as required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $39.73-$46.54 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
