Security Technician at Integra Electrical

Join Integra Electrical in Gresham, OR, as a Security Technician. Our team works across the Portland metropolitan area, including nearby cities such as Troutdale, Fairview, and Sandy. We are seeking a dedicated professional to install and maintain security infrastructure, focusing on high-quality cabling in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

Install and certify structured cabling systems, perform fiber optic terminations and testing, implement data center cable management, and coordinate pathway installations. Maintain clean room protocols and operate cable certification equipment. Install overhead cable tray systems, document testing results and warranties, perform high-density rack cabling, and maintain separation in hot aisle/cold aisle environments. Ensure compliance with data center standards. Work on the upcoming Eastside Business Park project in Gresham, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Adhere to Oregon’s specific safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

BICSI Installer 1 certification required. Demonstrated experience with structured cabling systems, proficiency in fiber optic installation, and expertise with cable testing equipment. Knowledge of data center infrastructure and understanding of TIA standards. Proven technical documentation skills and ability to read and create cable drawings. 1-3 years of experience required for security work in a commercial setting. Familiarity with regional safety standards and environmental conditions in Gresham.
