The Life Safety Fire Alarm Designer at Valley Alarm plays a critical role in the development and implementation of fire alarm systems. Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities for Fire Alarm Projects

  • Design and develop comprehensive fire alarm systems for various projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
  • Create detailed design plans and specifications using Fire Alarm Software.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices.
  • Ensure all designs comply with NFPA 1041 and NFPA 25 standards.
  • Provide technical support during installation and testing phases.
  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

• Required Certifications

  • NFPA 1041: Fire Service Instructor
  • NFPA 25: Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems

• Experience with

  • Fire Alarm Software: Proficiency in using industry-standard design software.
  • Fire Alarm Testing Equipment: Familiarity with tools used for testing fire alarm systems.
  • Fire Alarm Installation Tools: Knowledge of tools required for installing fire alarm components.

  • Valley Alarm is conveniently located in Mesa, AZ, with easy access to neighboring cities such as Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, and Apache Junction.
• Schedule: Full-time position with a standard workweek. Occasional overtime may be required based on project demands.
