The Apprentice Electrician Role

Join our dynamic team in the Commercial division as an Apprentice Electrician, where you will play a crucial role in executing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on diverse commercial projects. What you’ll bring

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn and apply electrical codes and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems using advanced tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance technical skills and safety knowledge.

Experience and Skills

• Proficiency in using Digital Multimeters (Fluke) for testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Competent in operating Power Tools (Milwaukee, DeWalt) for installation and repair tasks.
• Familiarity with Hand Tools (Klein, Knipex) is preferred.
• 1-2 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for the state of Florida.
• Strong physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Sound knowledge of safety practices and procedures in the electrical industry.

• Primary Location: Orlando, FL
• Neighboring Cities: Include Kissimmee, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Apopka, and Lake Mary in your consideration as potential areas where work may also be conducted.
• Schedule: Full-time position requiring flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary to meet project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $21.96-$27.21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
