Security Tech at Telco Data

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Security Tech for our team at Telco Data in Jersey City, NJ. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining security systems for our high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and financial institutions. The candidate must be able to work a second shift schedule, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and occasionally travel within a 100-mile radius.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security equipment such as CCTV, IP Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection
• Responding to security breaches in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborating with our regional teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage
• Providing technical support and consultation to clients
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest security systems and technologies

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in the security tech field
• ASIS PSP and ESA Level 2 certifications
• Proficient in managing and maintaining CCTV, IP Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+ and NICET Level II certifications
• Previous experience in corporate work environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
