Role Overview

As a Healthcare Security Technician at Nipper Electric, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ facilities. Working primarily on commercial projects, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems, with a special emphasis on healthcare environments. This position demands a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic settings.

Requirements for Healthcare Security Technician

Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems including Lenel, C-Cure, and C-More in various commercial environments.
• Conduct regular system checks and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of security systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of security systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Required Certifications and Experience

• Certifications: C-More, Crestron.
• Proficiency with security systems such as Lenel, C-Cure, and C-More.
• 3-5 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
• Possession of a valid electrical license for New Jersey.
• Demonstrated experience with Lenel and C-Cure systems.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment, work at heights, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• In-depth safety knowledge and adherence to safety standards.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with C-More systems.
• Extensive commercial project experience, particularly in healthcare settings.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Jersey City, NJ
• Neighboring Cities: Hoboken, Bayonne, Union City, and North Bergen.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours and potential for overtime depending on project needs.

• Pay Range: $26.65-$31.49 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
