Fire Alarm Tech at Telco Data

Position Overview

We’re excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Fire Alarm Tech role at Telco Data, located in the vibrant, metropolitan heart of Jersey City, NJ. As a Fire Alarm Tech, you will be a key member of a dynamic, 10-person regional team, working with Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and financial institutions. This role requires an experienced individual who can handle the fast-paced and advanced tech environment, with a regular schedule during standard business hours and frequent travel to nearby major cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in a variety of corporate environments, including tech startups, Fortune 500 companies, and financial institutions
• Troubleshooting of fire alarm panels, mass notification, and smoke detection systems
• Lead and manage responses to emergency communication and fire alarms
• Work effectively as part of a regional team, coordinating efforts in both Jersey City and surrounding major cities
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting ongoing development and growth

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Tech or related role
• Factory Certifications and NICET Level III Certification
• Proficiency in handling tools and technology such as Mass Notification, Fire Alarm Panels, Emergency Communication, and Smoke Detection Systems
• Ability to travel regularly to nearby major cities

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Level III Certification and higher Factory Certifications
• Prior experience in a corporate environment – specifically tech startups, Fortune 500 companies, or financial institutions
• Strong team management and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of the Jersey City market
