Join TEC Electric in Rancho Cucamonga, CA as a Journeyman Electrician for our long-term projects. We need a skilled professional to install, maintain, and troubleshoot renewable energy systems. You’ll work on commercial properties, focusing on solar panels, energy storage systems, and inverters, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- 4+ years experience as a Journeyman Electrician
- Valid California Journeyman Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and renewable energy codes, including solar and battery storage regulations
- Experience with solar panel installations and high-voltage DC systems
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
- Install and maintain renewable energy systems for commercial properties
- Route and install conduit and wiring for high-voltage DC and AC systems
- Perform system testing and commissioning for solar arrays
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on energy-efficient solutions
- Install and maintain battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Conduct preventive maintenance on renewable energy equipment
- Supervise apprentices and ensure adherence to safety standards
