As a Custom Home Journeyman Electrician at Howell Electric, you will play a crucial role in our residential projects, ensuring that all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards. Working closely with a team of professionals, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering exceptional service on custom home builds, multi-family residences, and home remodels.

Essential Functions

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on residential projects, including custom homes, multi-family buildings, and remodels.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and code books to ensure accurate and compliant electrical work.
• Utilize advanced test equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety regulations, including confined space and arc flash safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications

• 4-8 years of electrical experience, with a focus on residential projects.
• Valid electrical license for the state of California.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and code books.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Arc Flash Safety.
• Experience using advanced test equipment for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Extensive experience with residential electrical projects.

• Primary location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
• Neighboring cities include Ontario, Upland, Fontana, and Claremont.
• Schedule: Full-time position with opportunities for overtime as needed.
