CCTV Fire Alarm Designer Role Overview

As a CCTV Fire Alarm Designer at Staley Technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced fire alarm systems tailored to our clients’ security needs. Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities for Security Projects:

  • Design and develop customized fire alarm and CCTV systems for a variety of security projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet specified requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine optimal system placement and configuration.
  • Prepare detailed design documents, including schematics, floor plans, and system specifications.
  • Oversee installation processes to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to installation teams and clients.

• Required Certifications:

  • NFPA 1041: Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications
  • NFPA 1042: Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications

• Experience With:

  • Fire Alarm Design Software: Proficiency in using design tools to create detailed fire alarm system layouts.
  • Fire Alarm Installation Tools: Skilled in the use of tools and equipment required for fire alarm system installation.
  • Fire Alarm Software: Experience in configuring and programming fire alarm systems using specialized software.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 Years of Electrical Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical systems, with a focus on fire alarm design and installation.
• Valid Electrical License for CA: Must possess a current electrical license to work in California.
• Experience With Design and Installation Tools: Proven ability to work with both design software and installation tools specific to fire alarm systems.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with on-site assessments and installations, including lifting and climbing.

• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours, with occasional flexibility required to meet project deadlines.

• Pay Range: $39.95 - $47.14 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
