Controls Technician at Staley Technologies

We are currently seeking a Controls Technician for our Worcester, MA location at Staley Technologies. The Controls Technician will be an expert in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and industrial networking protocols. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. This position requires an Associates or Technical degree, vendor certifications (Rockwell, Siemens), and OSHA-30. A solid knowledge of AutoCAD, troubleshooting control systems, and documentation is essential for this role.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Technician
• Expertise in PLC programming, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens
• Proficient in developing and implementing HMI solutions
• Solid understanding of industrial networking protocols
• Extensive experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and SCADA systems
• Associates or Technical degree in a related field
• Vendor certifications from Rockwell and/or Siemens
• OSHA-30 certification
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot control systems
• Strong documentation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Familiarity with other PLC systems
• Knowledge of robotics

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $29.23-$39.92 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
