Join Staley Technologies as a Data Center Network Engineer at our Des Moines, IA location, where you’ll deploy your expertise in an edge data center environment catering to telecom providers, content delivery networks, and IoT services. In this role, you’ll work across multiple project teams on the second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Des Moines and regularly traveling to nearby major cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network systems within an edge data center environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver robust network solutions.
• Utilize configuration management tools to ensure network integrity and security.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network performance using advanced network analyzers.
• Regularly travel to major cities around Des Moines for network assessments and consultations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to enhance team performance.

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of network engineering experience.
• CompTIA Network+ and CCNA certifications.
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS and configuration management tools.
• Strong experience with network monitoring tools and analyzers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional CompTIA Network+ and CCNP certifications.
• Experience in network engineering within telecom or IoT environments.
• Familiarity with regional networking standards and best practices.
