Position Overview

Join Staley Technologies as a Data Center Cable Technician in Reno, NV, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the infrastructure that powers our Edge Data Centers. You’ll be part of diverse project teams and will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on work that directly impacts the efficiency and reliability of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for Edge Data Centers.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless cable management.
• Utilize DCIM Software to monitor and optimize cable layouts.
• Respond to service requests within a 30-mile radius of Reno, NV.
• Implement safety protocols and guidelines across all projects.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of PDUs and environmental monitoring systems.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data center or similar technical environments.
• Certifications: CDCDP, CompTIA Server+.
• Proficient with cable management systems and related tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work the second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CDCP, DCCA.
• Experience with diverse telecom and content delivery network setups.
• Familiarity with the unique demands of IoT service infrastructure.
