Overview of Security Fire Alarm Designer Role

As a Security Fire Alarm Designer at Safe and Sound, you will play a pivotal role in our security-focused operations. Your expertise in designing and implementing state-of-the-art fire alarm systems will contribute to the safety and security of our clients’ facilities. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver customized fire alarm solutions for a variety of environments, including corporate offices, government facilities, and healthcare centers. This position requires a strong understanding of fire alarm design and installation, as well as a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions

• Design and Development: Create comprehensive fire alarm system designs that meet client specifications and adhere to industry standards, including NFPA 70 and NFPA 1042.
• Project Management: Oversee the implementation of fire alarm systems, ensuring timely and efficient project completion while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to deliver integrated security solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize Fire Alarm Software and Fire Alarm Design Software to produce accurate and detailed plans.
• Installation Oversight: Guide and support installation teams with Fire Alarm Installation Tools to ensure proper system setup and functionality.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert recommendations for fire alarm systems.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a focus on fire alarm systems.
• Licensing: Possess a valid electrical license for the state of Nevada.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Fire Alarm Software and Fire Alarm Design Software.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks related to fire alarm installation and maintenance.
