Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level security systems tailored to client needs.
• Configure IP camera networks, including VLANs and QoS settings, for optimal performance.
• Program and manage access control databases and credential management systems.
• Install and maintain biometric security devices to enhance perimeter security.
• Configure and manage cloud-based security platforms for seamless integration.
• Perform comprehensive system health monitoring and preventative maintenance.
• Integrate security systems with building automation for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect security networks from threats.
• Maintain detailed system documentation and drawings for all security installations.
• Provide hands-on end-user training to ensure effective system operation.
• Support clients in the Phoenix area with localized security solutions, including compliance with Arizona’s security regulations.
• Assist in regional disaster recovery planning and emergency response coordination.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to enhance security protocols.

Required Qualifications

• ESA Level 1 certification is mandatory, with CompTIA Security+ preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise video management systems.
• Strong understanding of IP networking and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proficiency in access control database management and biometric security systems.
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards to support robust security infrastructure.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Clean background check and eligibility for government security clearance.
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial security work, specifically in the Phoenix region.
• Familiarity with Arizona’s specific security compliance requirements.
• Experience with heat-resistant and dust-proof security equipment for desert environments.
