Overview of the CCTV Security Project Manager Role

As a CCTV Security Project Manager at Safe and Sound, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of security projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of CCTV installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Working closely with a team of skilled technicians and engineers, you will ensure that all security systems are installed to the highest standards, leveraging your expertise in project management and electrical systems.

Essential Functions

• Lead and manage CCTV security projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Oversee the installation and configuration of CCTV systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and support, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utilize project management software to track progress, generate reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Required certifications: PRINCE2, IPMA

Experience with: Code Analysis, Estimating Tools, Project Management Software

Typical projects: Corporate Offices, Government Facilities, Healthcare Centers

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, preferably in a security environment.
• Valid electrical license for the state of California.
• Proven experience with Code Analysis and Estimating Tools.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Project Management Software to effectively manage project timelines and resources.
• Experience in managing security projects, particularly in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Modesto, CA
• Neighboring cities include: Ceres, Riverbank, Ripon, Salida, and Turlock.
• Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of occasional after-hours or weekend work to meet project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $46.78-$56.77 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
