Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. We provide a broad range of electrical services in Modesto, CA and the surrounding cities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems and equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with National Electrical Code and State and local regulations.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, repair or replace faulty equipment, wiring, or fixtures.
3. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repairs or adjustments.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
5. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
6. Coordinate with project manager and team members to effectively complete projects within specified deadlines.
7. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and satisfactorily.
8. Follow industry safety standards and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
9. Train and supervise apprentices to develop trade skills.
10. Perform administrative tasks such as completing necessary paperwork and submitting reports.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid state Journeyman Electrician License.
3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical field.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
5. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in different weather conditions.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage time and materials efficiently.
10. Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

1. Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
2. Willingness to travel to surrounding cities, including Ceres, Turlock, Riverbank, Oakdale, and Manteca.
3. Must have personal electrical tools.
4. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
