Role Overview:

As a Retail Cable Tech at Rogers Electric, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cable systems within a commercial setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of network systems in various commercial environments. This position requires expertise in cable management and network testing, as well as a solid understanding of safety protocols.

Requirements for Retail Cable Tech

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test network cables for commercial projects.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of cable systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols on all job sites.

• Required Certifications:

  • BICSI Installer 2
  • OSHA 10

• Experience:

  • 3-5 years of electrical experience in a commercial environment.
  • Proficiency with Cable Management Tools and Network Testing Tools.
  • Valid electrical license for Florida.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.

• Safety Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with OSHA 10.
• Commercial project experience.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Orlando, FL
• Neighboring Cities: Kissimmee, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Sanford, and Apopka.
• Schedule: Full-time, with possible overtime and weekend work as required by project deadlines.

• Pay Range: $22.71-$26.19 per hour, depending on experience.
