Your Daily Tasks as a Journeyman Electrician

Install and Maintain Renewable Energy Systems

Your day will typically begin with the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems, including solar panels, energy storage systems, and inverters. You’ll route and install conduit (EMT, rigid) and wiring for high-voltage DC and AC systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring these installations meet local regulations and perform optimally.

Perform System Testing and Commissioning

As part of your daily routine, you’ll conduct rigorous system testing and commissioning for solar arrays. This involves ensuring optimal energy output and compliance with local regulations. You’ll prepare detailed reports on system performance and maintenance activities, ensuring that all systems are functioning at their best.

Collaborate with Engineers and Supervise Apprentices
