We are committed to delivering innovative and reliable voice and data solutions to our clients. Currently, we are searching for an experienced and dedicated Voice & Data Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communication systems.
2. Perform the installation and termination of all forms of copper and fiber optic cables.
3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems to ensure optimal performance.
4. Design and install data network systems in both new construction and existing big box retail locations.
5. Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.
6. Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
7. Documentation of all installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance actions.
8. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Communicate effectively with customers, fellow technicians, and management.
10. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry developments.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years experience as a voice and data technician in the commercial electrical industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of voice and data systems, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
4. Proficient in the use of testing equipment and tools used in the industry.
5. Knowledge of state and local installation codes.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
8. Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
9. BICSI certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
2. Ability to stand, kneel or crouch for long periods.
3. Able to work in different weather conditions.
4. Comfortable working at heights, including on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
