Job Description:

Prime Partners is an industry-leading electrical services company based in Escondido, CA. We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellent understanding of electrical systems and be capable of applying this knowledge in the field. This role will cover services in Escondido and surrounding cities including San Marcos, Rancho Bernardo, Vista, Poway, and Ramona.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
8. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
9. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Completed an electrician apprenticeship.
2. Journeyman Electrician License required.
3. Proven experience as a journeyman electrician.
4. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
8. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
9. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electrician.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license.
2. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
3. The ability to work independently and with a team.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
