The Apprentice Electrician Position

Core Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist licensed electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems, focusing on residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with wiring for outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Pulling and routing electrical cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits.
• Preparing conduit and assisting in mounting electrical boxes and panels.
• Organizing job sites, managing inventory, and preparing tools.
• Performing essential tasks such as wire labeling and clean-up to support project progress.
• Shadowing experienced electricians to gain hands-on knowledge and develop skills in electrical installations and safety practices.

In addition, you will:

Required Experience & Skills

To join our team as an Apprentice Electrician, you should have a foundational understanding of electrical systems and hand tools. Other requirements include:

• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Essential certifications such as OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid.
• Basic technical knowledge in electrical theory and practical applications.
• A strong eagerness to learn, coupled with physical stamina and attention to detail.
• The ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions precisely.
