Prime Partners is a leading electrical service company in Santa Monica, CA, with a strong focus on commercial work, new construction, and big box retail industry. We deliver top-notch electrical services to our clients in Santa Monica and the surrounding cities, including Venice, Pacific Palisades, Marina Del Rey, and Brentwood. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communication systems.
2. Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
3. Assist with the installation of conduit, cables, panels, and wiring for systems.
4. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with voice and data systems.
5. Work with other team members in a professional and respectful manner.
6. Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
7. Communicate effectively with clients and other staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
9. Maintain customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions, and providing technical support.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Voice & Data Technician in the electrical industry, with a focus on commercial work, new construction, and big box retail.
2. Possess a valid California driver’s license.
3. Experience with various electronic devices, including security systems, telecom devices, network hardware, and other commercial electronic systems.
4. Excellent understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures.
5. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
6. Exceptional customer service skills.
7. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings and specifications.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and equipment.

Requirements:

1. Must have successfully completed a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program in the electrical field.
2. Must hold a valid Electrical Certification Card issued by the State of California.
3. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
