Job Overview: Prime Partners, a leading company in the electrical industry, is currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. This role also covers our operations in surrounding cities, including Malibu, West Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades, Venice, and Marina Del Rey. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements.
2. Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
3. Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
4. Fault finding and diagnosis to maintain and repair electrical systems.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
6. Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
7. Review blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and laying out correctly detailed wiring circuits.
8. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of electrical systems including planning, layout, and installation of electrical systems.
9. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

1. California State Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
3. Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
6. Familiarity with safety procedures, regulations, and guidelines in place.
7. Ability to read and understand complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
2. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
3. Must pass a drug screening and background check.
4. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
