Qualifications for Cable Technician

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Cable Technician.
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling installations and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in cable testing, termination, and certification procedures.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work efficiently in active construction environments.

Responsibilities for Cable Technician

• Install, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables.
• Perform cable terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices.
• Conduct cable testing and certification using industry-standard tools for performance and compliance.
• Install cable pathways such as conduits, raceways, and J-hooks, following safety codes and blueprints.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
