We are committed to providing top-tier voice and data systems for commercial clients across Salinas and surrounding cities. We are seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team and help us continue our tradition of unmatched quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain voice and data cabling systems in commercial facilities, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
- Perform testing to ensure all systems are functional and correctly installed.
- Troubleshoot and repair voice and data systems as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers on job scheduling and material requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, inspections, and maintenance work.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and queries promptly and professionally.
- Keep up-to-date with industry changes, including new products and installation techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training in an electrical or technical field is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician, preferably in the commercial sector.
- Thorough knowledge of voice and data systems installation and maintenance.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
- Adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines.
