Prime Partners is urgently seeking a skilled Cable Technician for long-term projects in Salinas, CA. We need a dedicated professional to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication infrastructure in commercial construction sites, working with CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables.

Qualifications for Cable Technician

• 2+ years of experience as a Cable Technician
  Demonstrated hands-on experience with structured cabling installations and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in cable testing, termination, and certification procedures
  Ability to efficiently use industry-standard tools for testing and certification.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work in active commercial construction sites
  Strong understanding of safety codes and blueprint navigation.

Responsibilities for Cable Technician

• Install, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems in commercial settings.
• Perform cable terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices.
• Conduct cable testing and certification to ensure compliance and performance.
• Install cable pathways, including conduits, raceways, and J-hooks, adhering to safety codes and blueprints.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to achieve project goals and maintain quality standards.
