Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Salinas, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
3. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
4. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
5. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
6. Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and residential electrical systems.
7. Read blueprints or technical diagrams before doing work.
8. Collaborate with construction and architectural teams.
9. Train and mentor apprentice electricians.
10. Estimate material and labor costs for new projects.
11. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical systems.
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid license to practice the profession.

Requirements:

1. Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
4. High school diploma or equivalent.
5. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.
6. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
7. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
