Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of voice and data systems in accordance with industry standards. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot voice and data systems, including VoIP, telecommunications, and network cabling systems.
2. Perform system upgrades and expansions as required.
3. Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.
4. Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.
5. Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Comply with all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
7. Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of voice and data systems, including VoIP, telecommunications, and network cabling systems.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong customer service skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Good verbal and written communication skills.
8. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
9. Must be willing to travel to surrounding cities including Moreno Valley, Corona, and San Bernardino.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
2. Must be comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
3. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.
4. Must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as necessary.
