Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Riverside, CA

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position will perform a variety of tasks pertaining to the electrical industry and will often be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role will service Riverside, CA and surrounding cities including Moreno Valley, Norco, Corona, Fontana, and San Bernardino.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
8. Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
9. Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
10. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
11. Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
12. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Valid state license to practice as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Proven experience as an Electrician.
3. Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
8. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
3. Experience working as an electrician.
4. High degree of attention detail and a focus on safety.
5. Ability to comply with all safety procedures.
6. Valid driver’s license.
7. Valid journeyman electrician license.
8. Ability to lift, carry and maneuver heavy equipment.
9. Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions.
