We are currently seeking an experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of voice and data cabling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, terminate, and test voice and data cables in commercial environments.
2. Troubleshoot and repair voice and data systems, ensuring minimal downtime and loss of productivity.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
4. Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations during all installations and repairs.
5. Conduct regular system inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
6. Work closely with the project management team to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
7. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
8. Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a positive and educational working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician, preferably in the commercial electrical industry.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, and coaxial cables.
4. Ability to read and understand complex technical documents and blueprints.
5. Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
9. Willingness to travel to surrounding cities for job assignments.
