You will lead installation teams, ensuring high-quality execution from layout to certification, while collaborating with multiple construction stakeholders to meet project goals.
Qualifications for Lead Cable Technician
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structured cabling leadership on commercial projects
- Expertise in BICSI installation methods, TIA/EIA standards, and Fluke DTX/DSX tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and strong leadership skills
Responsibilities for Lead Cable Technician
Lead and manage structured cabling installations on large job sites, including CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber optic cabling. Oversee the termination and labeling of patch panels, jacks, and enclosures. Conduct thorough testing and certification using industry-standard equipment. Implement cable management solutions per project specifications and collaborate with IT and construction teams to align timelines. Maintain accurate project documentation and quality control checklists.
