Job Description: Prime Partners, a leading company in the electrical industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Voice & Data Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of voice and data systems in commercial buildings, mainly focusing on new construction and big box retail. This is a full-time position, requiring strong technical skills, excellent work ethics, and a commitment to providing top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain voice and data communication systems, including but not limited to copper and fiber optic cabling, patch panels, and data racks.
2. Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of the voice and data systems.
3. Test and repair problems within the voice and data systems.
4. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately install and repair systems.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and standards in the industry.
6. Provide customer service support and address customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
7. Work collaboratively with team members and independently as needed.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technology.
9. Document and maintain all job-related information accurately and timely.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. A degree in a related field is preferred.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician in the electrical industry.
3. Proficient in installing and maintaining voice and data systems in commercial buildings.
4. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety measures.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
10. Must be willing to travel to job sites around Gilbert and the surrounding cities.
