Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and customer service-oriented Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We provide electrical services to residential and commercial clients in Gilbert, AZ and the surrounding cities including Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, and Tempe. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction and compliance with all electrical codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses.
2. Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure they are in good working order.
3. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment while ensuring compliance with codes.
4. Ensure that all work is in accordance with relevant codes.
5. Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
6. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
7. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
8. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.
9. Estimate material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid state Journeyman Electrician’s license.
3. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
4. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
7. Outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
2. Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
3. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move medium to heavy weight.
4. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
5. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
