Job Description: Prime Partners is a recognized leader in the electrical industry, specializing in commercial work, mainly new construction and big box retail. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Fullerton, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing voice, data, and electronic communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communications systems.
2. Install, test, certify, and troubleshoot data cabling system.
3. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and written reference materials.
4. Perform routine maintenance on communication systems.
5. Coordinate and manage projects related to data and voice networking.
6. Ensure compliance with codes by referencing NEC manual.
7. Conduct system programming and system/equipment upgrades.
8. Provide high level customer service and resolve any issues related to voice and data installations.
9. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
10. Maintain safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a voice/data technician or related field.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of data and voice networking.
4. Knowledge and understanding of the NEC and local codes.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
6. Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and strong attention to detail.
7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
8. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
9. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

1. Must be willing to travel to surrounding cities including Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, La Habra, and Placentia.
2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
3. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
