Job Description:

Prime Partners is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for an array of electrical tasks ranging from installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems in both commercial and residential settings in and around Fullerton, CA, including neighboring cities such as Anaheim, Placentia, Buena Park, and La Habra.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
8. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems.
9. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Experience working as a journeyman electrician.
3. Possession of Journeyman License in the state of California.
4. Proficient knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid driver’s license.
9. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
10. Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety features.
11. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
